What does it mean to be "alive"?
You have to choose physical life vs. the survival of your soul/spirit. You don't get to pretend you aren't choosing. Pretending ignorance is a choice.
If you are willing to look the other way while children are being trafficked by the government you support with your taxes, you will lose your soul. How is that living?
